Minister Brian Lewis has been playing gospel music for the past 25 years. This gift from God has allowed him to share His Holy Word through music locally, nationally, and internationally, as far as Rome and Paris.

In fact, while in Paris, he recorded his first live CD with Rev. Lucien R. Garrett, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Vacherie, La.

Minister Lewis has also directed the New Orleans world-renowned "Gospel Soul Children" choir.

This past Spring, he was inducted as a 2002 honoree into the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Mahalia Jackson Gospel Musician's Hall of Fame. In 1998, he received the Musician's Award from the Gospel Music Workshop of America.

Presently, he also serves as the Musical Director of the New Home Ministries, Bishop Robert C. Blakes, Sr., Pastor and Founder.

Formerly an Account Executive with KKNO AM 750 in New Orleans, and Sales Manager of WCKW 1010AM in Reserve, Minister Lewis has been a KBZE employee since April of 2002.

He is the husband of Monica Lewis, and the father of Kajah and Jaron, Jr.

His live verse is Romans 8:8, "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."

A native of New Orleans, Minister Lewis considers his favorite book of the Bible, the Book of Psalms, and David his favorite person in the bible. "He was a man after God's heart even though he had his flaws," says Minister Lewis.
